So, how about a much needed Black & White spiritual successor next for Brightrock?

Would you like to see a Black & White style game be developed by Brightrock?

I have returned after my long absence spent skulking silent amongst the other lurkers in the great void! (by that, i mean playing the hell out of DnD lol)

I personally feel that this would be a great stepping off point to head towards with the official content development for WFTO ending soon. A lot of the core AI work im sure could be pulled directly from WFTO for use in a game such as this as well, and just like the case with WFTO, a game in the same vein as Black & White fills a much needed, and currently unoccupied, slot in the modern games of today. So what is everyones thoughts on this?

A Spiritual Successor to Black & White would be awesome!
I for sure would buy it! And I bet that concept would work perfectly with VR

If Brightrock Games weren't allowed to have Pets for your godly will, I'm also fine with, would buy anyways

I don't see having an avatar as being an issue, given how close in gameplay nature WFTO is to DK. As long as enough of the core storyline and art assets are changed, its just another homage to a great classic! Mechanically though, plenty of improvements could be made following in the footsteps of BW1==>BW2, and i could certainly see integration of other games mechanics to get around some of the issues of sameness. If you've ever played spore, imagine being able to design your own avatar for your god to stomp all over people lol

I want to start off with apologizing in advance. I been on the web long enough to know the Dwight Schrutes and wanna be edgelords are going to jump in me for necro-posting, so to the staff and the decent people on this forum, i would just like to say i’m sorry for any Drama that may come from this post...

Now for the actual point.
I would like to know if anything came from this? Everyone that loves God Games know that Black & White and Back & White 2 were the best in this genre.. I have a lot of big ideas and a huge passion for this game, so if theres a kick starter, i want in.
If theres a person i can pitch my ideas too, i want to meet them.
If theres any thing i can do to mske this dream a reality, i wanna help.
i would fund this whole project myself if i had the money, but i can comfortably say that i would be willing to not only pre-order the game, and spread the word around to help get backers, but would also kick in extra donations out of every pay check until this project is complete..

I want this to happen more that i’ve ever wanted any game, and i want to be a part of it in anyway i can....

We're all a big fan of God Games at Brightrock. Ultimately though we're working on a new project currently and it's not anything in this vein. I know there are some other spiritual successor projects to various god games ongoing though. :)
