    I'm using a machine with an Intel Core i7-3610QM processor - should be well into the realm of "reasonably powerful". Performance dropped to roughly 2 FPS when I tagged some blocks and the workers started coming in to attempt to dig.

    Nothing wrong with using more words with less difficulty, to say essentially the same thing. In fact, I think it probably makes it more clear for some people to keep it simple.

    I tried calculating your formula (with "dungeon attraction" as 1 and portal number as 1), and I got some different results. Did I miss anything? 10 + ((m*2) / (A/m+1))/P m = 0, 1, 2, 4, 19 (having , creatures, going to attract (m+1)th one) 10 + ((0) / (1/1))/1 = 10 (attracting first creature)...

    Important update: I have revised the suggestion rules and formats. Especially the Units format has been overhauled. Keep this new format in mind for creating new suggestions, and if you have older suggestions, try to update these to the new formats if necessary.

    It's still just pixels on a screen. If you get scared of that already, then you have issues. Additionally, these are just static images. In the game, they'll be actively moving around, greatly impoving the "creepy crawly" factor of them. You can't get too clear a look at them if they move...

    I removed Luck from the format, as it doesn't really have any purpose but cause unneeded confusion, and it's now confirmed not to be in anyway.
