WTFO is my favorite thing on Kickstarter right now, but I thought it might be nice to have a place to share other exciting things we find on there; after all, I'd like to think similar forums are drawing their backers attention here.

At this moment I'm afraid I'm not backing anything that's open for funding, but I have backed a few things in the past that are now in development, thus I kick this off by drawing your attention to these future items for the shelves:

Boss Monster, the video game based dungeon building card game

Project Eternity, basically a new baldur's gate

Star Citizen, a great looking space combat simulator (Bring back the joystick days!)

Icontrolpad 2.This is more or less a bluetooth controller but made more for portability.

Im backing a really interesting sandbox MMO called topia online. It looks amazingly innovative and I totally hope they get the funding and more.

After watching the video decided to back this. It's actually a concept I've had thoughts about, this is first time I've seen others express the similar idea.Looks like it's a long way to go for funding but I've seen projects just jump up in the last days.

if your interested in trying it out a bit they have a tech preview that you can check out on their website here

the third one has some basic scripting support and the scripting section on their forums has some really cool scripts already.

WFTO is the first and for now only thing I've backed on Kickstarter - I don't have the money to back everything I would like to see, but I couldn't live with myself if the opportunity of DK3 being made passed the world by.

Who are the people who pledge sums of thousands? How do they have that kind of cash just kicking around?

Some KSers are just all talk, they have ambition but not the will to do the actual work for the project.
