Sounds like what I expect it to be like, yeah.

In terms of difficulty settings if they happen (it will be a case of the lower settings making the AI's personality dumber.. I.e it would be more likely to make bad decisions.. or take longer to react to your breaching it's walls.. that sort of thing.. I guess)
That would seriously ruin the AI play to be honest. It's like making AI play with artificial lag/delay, I'm afraid such thing might make them too weak to enjoy playing against.

So don't play on the lower difficulty settings? That's kind of the point.. you can play on the super dumb one if you don't want a challenge.. or play against the genius one if you want a really hard challenge.

But making them that dumb won't really teach player anything. I'd rather nerf their expansion rate, so beginners can keep up, but certainly not their reactions to being attacked.

You'll probably change your mind when you play against them at full strength.
It took me three matches against AI in 0.6.1 to realize how it works. I'm sure for every experienced player it will be 3 - 5 matches before they find the way to beat him. For others, it will be good example of how to play this game efficiently, importance of being active player and not the MPD-style one and how some tactics work/fail. All this will be possible if he won't be reduced to the AI of DK2 v1.7 tier.

That was just me guessing, I have no idea how they'll nerf it exactly.. it was just an example of how the lower difficulty settings COULD be made weaker without changing their actual playstyle/personalities.

Well, I'm glad to know that AI will be buffed. Not like I'm gonna have them nerfed or something.

A little question regarding this system - will it work like Handicap system or apply to all AI players in the match?

I'm not sure if there will be multiple AIs in a match.. but i'm pretty sure if there were, you'd set a difficulty setting for each AI:

Steven Fright could be difficulty 5, Draven at 4 and Rhaskos at 1, since it only affects that particular underlord I don't see why it would need to be a map wide thing affecting all of them at once.

Think of it as "how hard do you want me to punch you? full power..or hold back a little so I don't kill you?"

As experienced player of sort, I'd rather go with full punch first, just to see the ''beauty'' of the game, with later dropping it to normal level if I fail miserably. It's the best way to learn how to play and see what usually works the best against average player.

I'm yet to see these in action, but it's good to know they can be buffed if someone will find them not challenging enough.

Good to hear how one of the coders complains. That's usually a positive sign.

Mira Mi Poder
Lose less than 3 minions

Is this for entire campaign or per each level?

I have a feeling this will be nearly impossible to do.

I'm guessing in any single level, which could actually be pretty easy on one level assuming that ghouls don't count.
Not easy at all. Any level with AI Underlord will make it impossible to do, simply because your creatures will be constantly killed with lighting.

That is not an issue on the level I am thinking of either. but then again on many of the earlier levels you don't get beasts, even C3 might be pretty easy to do that achievement on.
Guess it's related to some level then. I'd find game extremely frustrating if this achievement required us win every campaign level like that.

So, about Home World achievement - no way to explain this a little bit?
