Hey [email protected], It is something we have looked at but we don't have any immediate plans for any merchandise. When we are closer to Kickstarter I'm sure you will hear something about merchandise.

What do you feel like would be great merchandise? What would you be willing to buy?

I'm just gonna list off some things at the top of my head.

  • Art Book
  • Plushies
  • Figurines
  • Keychains
  • A real life Blood Imp! Careful, they bite.
  • Badges
  • Porn- wait...
That's all I can currently think at the top of my head.

If it helps, I seen some figurines for Heroes of Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes and they look pretty neat.

Hi, well, it would be nice to see some good old-fashioned tee-shirts with a cool design if possible :) I also have a thing for printed mugs (the drinking vessel, not my face, that would be weird).

Some great ideas, some easy to organize and some rather hard. Books, mugs, badges and posters are rather easy. Figurines and Plushies (soft toys) they would be rather hard and a high cost than the average high street price. I am not saying we ruling them out, but it takes allot of organization. I would love a stuffed Blood Imp myself.

I think the chances are it will first start of as a modest normal game
and if it does well you can exspect a fluufy toy bloodling

If you need someone to make the books, I AM AVAILABLE!!!!

p.s - They will be in PDF format, bu that is probably preferable, as they can be more easily distributed.
p.p.s - If necessary, I will pay YOU (the Dev team) to let me work on the books.
p.p.p.s - Please?

I dont like Game-shirts, In the most cases theres just a logo on it which hasnt much characteristics...
(When I want to look like the little Geek I am, I wear Blind Guardian shirts^^)
But I would definitly buy a patch for my bagpack or a small figurine.
@Sebt I think priests and other units should look medieval enough to fit in the lines of the european styled knights and heros
- but some little asian or egypt touches wont hurt.
Someone who reminds of the designs of Thulsa Dooms acolytes and the old Shaman Akiro from the Conan the Barbarian film?

Give this film a try if you havnt seen it yet.

Well, I guess there is quite a lot of skill in getting the perfect t-shirt. I won a Ghost Recon Online one, I love it, it's not too busy, hasn't got the words "GHOST RECON!!!!" all over it not just a small logo in the corner. Perhaps the devs. could post some designs and we could have a vote for the favourite :)

I'm sure we can come up with something more unique than just the logo printed on the front. It will be something we look at in a few months time when we looking at rewards for our backers via Kickstarter & Paypal or products to sell if indeed we do at all. Please do keep sending us your ideas.

but please answer me on one question:

We should stay with medieval European warriors or we could think about warriors like monks like these from the highest parts of Chinese mountain or like Chyngis Chan warriors or maybe try mixing some styles with old Egyptian fighters etc.?
I would not be the best to answer your question to be honest Sebt. I would say sometimes its best to try stick to a certain aspect and try mix in some other parts like you said. It all ways best to try go off track and create something all new but in the same style.

I just had a one suggestion for Empire unit: Battle cleric ,but he need many modifications, especially humorous side and some skills... I think I'll make a new one. I like bold warriors and many funny pictures shows bold crazy warriors, so I'll present a new (more interesting) version of it, but please answer me on one question:

We should stay with medieval European warriors or we could think about warriors like monks like these from the highest parts of Chinese mountain or like Chyngis Chan warriors or maybe try mixing some styles with old Egyptian fighters etc.?
Hmmm idea, if Subterranean Games wanted to be creative, why not have few different cultural variations? Perhaps not all mixed up, but to give the game a sense of progress and world domination the human enemies could in some realms be English looking, others Victorian looking, Others Viking looking, others Asian looking, others Mongolian looking and so on.
Would be fun voice impersonating different cultural dialog, equally as fun modifying the human sprites to look more or less the same just culturally distinct. Each culture could have a unique unit as well.
Could take influence and ideas from Age of Kings and Age of Empires, the Japanese had Samurai, the English had Longbow men and so on ?
This certainly could make each stage unique and different and could add interesting twists to the story, for example in some stages the humans could be having their own little disagreements or perhaps even be in civil war ?
The trick would lie in having the units easily distinguishable but culturally identifiable. I think im going to make a post on this.. Link it when its ready here, id like peoples input on it.
